ShopTogether technology handles user and session management, sharing of user site navigation, product-data exchange, chat communication and security. Our hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution requires no server-side software. All that’s needed are a few lines of JavaScript code that tag pages on your website for use with the ShopTogether server.
When a user visits a page, our client-side ShopTogether JavaScript API sends the tagged items to the ShopTogether server where they can be broadcast to other users. This allows multiple users to collaborate online, chatting and sharing the products or other content they’re viewing as they explore the site.
ShopTogether applications are embedded in the retailer’s site—so there’s no need for consumers to download software. Because no personally identifiable data are accessible through ShopTogether technology, every interaction is safe and secure. Users are connected with friends through a shared link—and each user opts in before any information is shared.
